Chinese users have been clamoring for a way to make their WeChat account sounds Chinese for more than a decade.
It was long a dream of many, but the feature wasn’t available until we had reached the point where we could use our WeChat mobile phone to talk in Chinese.
WeChat added the ability to use WeChat Voice for Chinese to Chinese communication in late 2017.
After a while, the feature became a popular choice for those who wanted to use their Chinese account as a secondary account for things like social media.
It’s a great way to have a secondary profile on the platform, so you can be the one to speak with your friends.
But many have found it frustrating because it’s hard to get it right when speaking in Chinese, and not everyone can use the feature.
For some, it also feels a bit like they have to use a Chinese language app to speak, rather than just a voice app like many others.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
Using voice in Wechat has a few benefits: it’s faster than using a Chinese voice app.
You don’t need to download the app to get started.
Voice over IP works just as well in Chinese as it does in English.
And because weChat is a messaging app, you can get an instant reply from anyone in China, even if they don’t have an account.
You can also call people by name, without having to speak Chinese.
And there’s no need to use the WeChat app to use voice, as the feature is already built in.
The most obvious advantage is speed.
When you use Wechat voice, it’s as if you are speaking directly into a microphone.
That makes it faster to respond to messages, as well as make voice calls and messages.
But there are other benefits too.
You’re able to see messages sent and received directly on your phone.
It’s a nice feature for people who use Weibo, but it’s also useful for those of us who have no Chinese language skills.
If you want to be more secure, you also get a more secure way to use your account.
WeChat requires you to use an alternate email address.
That means you can’t use your WeChat name or email address to send and receive messages.
So when you use your secondary account, you’ll have to sign in with your main account to get the same features.
And for those with multiple accounts, there’s a good chance you can only use one account at a time.
We’ve been hearing reports of users with multiple WeChat accounts getting stuck using the same account for all their messages.
It makes sense, as there’s often more than one person on the account.
Some people have found the feature can be a little confusing, but others are happy to use it.
Here’s a video guide to how to set up your Wechat account in Chinese for Chinese users.
